What a splendid walk! Tricia led 12 of us on this most scenic walk in the Longnor area of the White Peak. Conditions were perfect-bright sunshine and great clarity, making for wonderful views of the quite dramatic landscape. Full marks to Tricia for locating the mud, but also for leading us safely over the slippery ridges of these two hills with their steep climbs and descents. The Quiet Woman at Earl Sterndale provided welcome drinks in a “step back in time” atmosphere. One of the best walks of the year! Thanks a lot Tricia for organizing it.
